Why we recommend it: We built Acabado to be everything that a beginning blogger needs. Acabado gives you everything you need while keeping it simple, it is SEO optimized and best of all, stupid fast. Why it might not be for you: Acabado is great for someone who wants a simple, clean site. If you are wanting to add special features to your site, you can, but we do not provide every feature for every circumstance. You will have to do it manually with short codes. Acabado is meant to be simple and fast.
Why we recommend Kadence: To date, Kadence is the best theme I’ve ever used. I really liked Divi before, but Kadence took everything I loved about Divi and did it using the WordPress blocks structure, making it much faster to load. Their starter templates save me a ton of time and make my site look way better than I could with my limited design capabilities.
What they could do to improve: Like most fully-customizable themes, Kadence gives a bit too much freedom for a total beginner making a simple blog. That said, those starter templates are a big help.
Compared to the competition: There are lots of good page builders these days. Elementor is very popular, but I prefer the way Kadence works and looks.
