Episode 306

Here’s an easy step by step process to audit your own YouTube channel and easily find one area to work on!

1. Find 2-3 other channels that you like in your niche that are successful.
2. Watch a few of their videos and rank the creator 1-5 on the following metrics:
A. Pacing (Hook, avoiding repetition, etc)
B. Visual Variety (b-roll, on screen visuals in edit, scene or location changes)
C. On-camera presence
D. Ideas, Titles and Thumbnails. (How compelled are you to click on their videos?)
E. Storytelling

Now, go to YOUR channel and rank yourself on each of those same categories on a scale of 1-5. Start with your lowest category and begin making small improvements there! Post in the community and let us know what you’ll be working on.
